Feature
Attendance that is marked once and visible to everyone who needs it
Attendance in most colleges is captured accurately and then lost administratively. The register is marked in the classroom, typed into a spreadsheet days later, consolidated at the end of the month, and by the time a shortage is visible the semester is nearly over and the student is already past the point where an intervention would have worked.
Campus360 removes the copying steps. Faculty mark the period from whatever device is in front of them, and that entry is the record — there is no second system to reconcile it against. Aggregates by student, by subject and by section are derived from it continuously, so the HOD's shortage list and the parent's view are the same numbers the faculty member entered, not a monthly snapshot of them.
What you get
Marked once, at the source
Period-wise marking from a phone, tablet or desktop. No paper register to transcribe, and no end-of-month consolidation pass where errors get introduced.
Aggregated as it is entered
Per-student, per-subject and per-section percentages update as attendance is marked, so a shortage is visible in the week it develops rather than the month after.
Scoped to the role, not just labelled
A faculty member sees their own sections. An HOD sees their department. A parent sees their own ward and nothing else. The scoping is enforced in the database, not by hiding a menu item.
Feeds the risk model
Declining attendance is one of the earliest signals a student is disengaging, so it feeds the predictive risk snapshot rather than sitting in a silo.
How it works
- 1
Faculty marks the period
From the faculty portal on any device, against the section and subject they are actually assigned to.
- 2
Aggregates update immediately
Subject-wise and cumulative percentages are recomputed from the entries — there is no nightly batch to wait for.
- 3
Everyone reads the same number
HOD, principal, placement officer, student and parent all read from the same record, each scoped to what they are entitled to see.
Questions we get asked
Does Campus360 support biometric or RFID attendance?
No. Attendance is marked by faculty from their own device. There is no biometric or RFID capture in the product today, and we would rather say so than let you discover it after a purchase order.
Can attendance be corrected after it is marked?
Yes, by the faculty member who owns the section, and the correction is attributable — the system records who changed what rather than silently overwriting.
Can parents see attendance directly?
Yes. The parent role has its own portal scoped to their own ward, so a shortage does not have to be communicated by phone call.
